Wild Spot Prawns are a highly seasonal West Coast delicacy with a beautifully delicate, almost buttery texture with a sweet flavor that’s so, so crave-able.
Tasting notes:
Beautiful, delicate, almost buttery texture. With a lovely sweet and succulent flavor.
How they're fished:
They’re caught using oval traps, then hand-sorted to release bycatch and female prawns back into the water. After sorting, they’re stored in oxygen-enriched seawater to maintain freshness before being flash frozen.

Where they're grown:
These Spot Prawns come from the pristine waters of Barkley Sound in British Columbia, harvested by our friend Mica Verbrugge at Canadian Seafood Inc.

Serve 'em Hog Island Style:
Grill, poach or boil these spot prawn tails. Serve with our house cocktail sauce or try this simple Grilled Spot Prawn recipe from farm chef, Jamie Burgess.

Size choices:
Spot prawn tails come in 1 lb boxes (approx. 28 tails per container)

If thawed, eat within 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months to eat at your leisure.
