How to shuck an oyster

Named after the waters they call home, our Earthquake Bays are plump and meaty, with a strong shell and deep cup.

Tasting notes: Slightly sweet with a mild brine finish.

How they're grown: Earthquake Bays are grown in rigid mesh bags with an attached float that gently tumble the oysters as the tide rises and falls.

Where they're grown: Grown and harvested by Hog Island in Tomales Bay on a submerged portion of the San Andres fault (hence the nickname Earthquake Bay).

Sizing: Extra smalls are the perfect size to eat raw on the half-shell. They range from 2-2.75" in length.
